Social participation

On June 14, our children had to participate in 2 activities. First one was ‘The Rainbow Run 2015’, the 4th Walk/Run for individuals with Special Needs. The event was organized by the Rainbow Room Foundation and Punky Runer. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about children with special needs and for the children to join other people to celebrate the theme “Be different Be kind”.

Children from Camillian Home woke up at 4 am to prepare themselves before leaving the home at 5 am. Four children joined the group; Big, Fahsai, Mouy and Bell together with Fr.Jimmy and staff who participated in the event. The children completed a walk of about 2.4 km. at Lumpini park.

After completion, the children received medals from the event and proudly displayed them to other children at Camillian Home.

Another group of our children participated in Wan Wai Kru ceremony (Teacher’s day).This ceremony is held every year to pay respect and gratitude to teachers who impart knowledge and kindness to all their students. There were 5 children who participated in the ceremony; Toey, Wa, Nat, Peter and Ploy. Peter and Ploy were the representatives of Camillian Home and presented a colorful tray of flowers as an appreciation towards their teachers.

วันอาทิตย์ ที่ 14 มิถุนายน เด็กๆ ของเรามีภารกิจที่ต้องแบ่งไปทำ สอง กิจกรรมด้วยกัน คือ การเข้าร่วมงาน เดินวิ่งการกุศล เพื่อผู้มีความต้องการพิเศษ ครั้งที่ 4 ที่ทางมูลนิธิฯ เดอะเรนโบว์รูม ร่วมกับ พังค์กี้ รันเนอร์ จัดขึ้นเพื่อสร้างกิจกรรมให้บุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษและบุคคลทั่วไปได้ทําร่วมกัน และ รณรงค์ให้ประชาชนทุกเพศ ทุกวัย ทุกความสามารถ ใส่ใจในสุขภาพและออกกําลังกายด้วยการเดิน-วิ่ง เพื่อส่งเสริมทัศนคติในเชิงบวกต่อบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษภายใต้แนวคิด “Be Different. Be Kind” เพราะเราแตกต่าง เพราะเรามีน้ำใจ

เด็กๆ บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ตื่นตั้งแต่ ตี4 เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในการออกเดินทาง ตอน ตี5 ไปที่สวนลุมสถานที่จัดงาน น้องๆ ที่ร่วมกิจกรรมเดินวิ่ง ในครั้งนี้ คือ น้องบิ๊ก น้องฟ้าใส น้องหมวย และน้องเบลล์ พร้อมกับคุณพ่อจิมมี่ ที่ร่วมเป็นตัวแทน ของบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ เพื่อร่วมในกิจกรรมครั้งนี้ น้องๆ คุณพ่อจิมมี่ และเจ้าหน้าที่ จากบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ร่วมเดินวิ่ง เป็นระยะทางประมาณ 2.4 กิโลเมตร

หลังจากที่เสร็จกิจกรรม เด็กๆ ดีในมากที่ตัวเองได้รับเหรียญในการวิ่ง ซึ่งพอถึงบ้านน้องๆ ก็นำเหรียญ ที่ได้รับจากงานมาโชว์เพื่อนๆ คนอื่นๆ

และอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมที่เด็กๆ ของเราไปร่วมงานในวันนั้นคือ กิจกรรมวันไหว้ครู ซึ่งมี น้องเต้ย น้องวา น้องนาท โดยมีน้องปีเตอร์ น้องพลอย เป็นตัวแทนถือพานไหว้ครู วันไหว้ครูเป็นวันที่จัดขึ้นเพื่อแสดงความเคารพต่อครูบาอาจารย์ ที่คอยอบรมสั่งสอนให้ความรู้กับเด็กนักเรียน ทางบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ จึงได้พาน้องๆ ของเราเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ที่ทาง กศน. ลาดกระบัง เด็กๆ ที่ร่วมงานในครั้งนี้ต่างรู้สึกดีใจที่ตนเองได้มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมกับเพื่อนๆ ที่เรียน กศน. และ ได้แสดงความเคารพ ต่อคุณครูที่คอยสอนและให้ความรู้กับน้องๆ
