“Shop for a Cause” You Shop, You Help
Finally the day that our shoppers have been waiting for arrives! “Shop for a Cause” Jumble Sale is held at Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel on Sunday 9th Febuary, 2014 with the purpose to raise some money from the good quality donation items. We are supported by many local celebrities and other big people when they knew about how this charity event can help our children at Camillian Home.

Before the entry, everyone is invited to sign up first in order to be connected to Camillian Home in the future
Not just only the donation items can be found in the event, we have many vendors who are also our donors; for example BKK-Health, Jasberry, Radiance Wholefoods, Soap Kitchen, Ms.Arpita Sharma, Sunshine International, Kanjana Handmade, Moxy, and Patricia’s Homemade.

Also, The Silent Auction! We placed our children’s paintings and so many interesting vouchers from the donors to bid; Apex Profound Beauty, Black Ivory Coffee, Soap Kitchen, Tribeca Restobar, Jasberry, Mama’s Secret, Q Time Service, Kanjana Handmade, Australian Pub, Angel City Dinner, The Kiwi, Oskar Bistro, Cookbook by Chef McDang, Artwork by Suthirak Rithraksa,BNH Check Up, Arte di Murano and Chao Praya Princess Dinner Cruise, The Siam Hotel, and Playhouse Cabaret Show.

In the same time, the guests can leave their children at the kid’s corner which provided by Kid’s Birthday BKK so the parents can spend time looking on the things to buy.

The children also do something for selling too! They are very well with making scarves and they sold all 22 pieces to support the home. The staffs perform the different roles to acknowledge new visitors of Camillian Home about our missions, and how we work as a team.

However, the event cannot be running well like this at all without the supports from our volunteers and sponsors!! They are very down to earth and always help Camillian Home after the first time they visited us. This is very touching :).

Our donation items are mostly collected by Moxy and all of them were transported from Camillian Home to Dusit Thani Bangkok by Asian Tigers Mobility. Asian Tigers also sponsored us by offering their shopping bags so our shoppers can put all their things back home conveniently.

At last, the total revenue of this event is over 180,000THB!!! All the efforts and kindness of you all for Camillian Home are more than appreciated. Thank you so much everyone for being with us as always 😀
