Menarini activity at Camillian Home
We have an exciting new programme happening at Camillian Home, thanks to the generous support of Menarini, a pharmaceutical and medical equipment company. As part of their corporate social responsibility activities (CSR), a group of staff from Menarini will visit Camillian Home every Friday in June, July and August to do games and DIY craft activities with our kids.
The first visit was on June 20th, and included about 20 Menarini staff, including the Managing Director Mr. Mark Brown, while each new session will involve about 10 Menarini staff. Each week, the staff will first lead a fun game with all of our children, then stay for lunch. After lunch, Menarini staff work with our children, teachers and daycare mothers on DIY craft activities. This is not only a fun activity for the group, but we can sell the products that are made in our A Little Something shop, as part of our vocational training programme.
The crafts they have made so far include floral headbands, decoupage purses, and decorated glasses. Future groups will make funky decorated sandals, tie-dye shirts, and decoupage sunhats. We are grateful to Menarini for choosing to support us in their CSR programme, and we look forward to the rest of the fun games and craft activities we will do with them. บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ได้มีกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจเกิดขึ้นที่บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ต้องขอบคุณบริษัท เมนารินี่ ที่มาทำกิจกรรม ซีเอสอาร์ ที่บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ โดยเจ้าหน้าที่ของเมนารินี่ จะผลัดเปลี่ยนกันมาเพื่อทำกิจกรรมกับน้องๆ บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ในทุกๆ วันศุกร์ เป็นเวลา 3 เดือน โดยเริ่มจาก เดือน มิถุนายน ถึง เดือนสิงหาคม ในช่วงเช้าจะเป็นกิจกรรมเกม ที่พี่ๆ ได้ทำร่วมกับน้องๆ และในช่วงบ่ายจะเป็นกิจกรรม ดี ไอ วาย ร่วมกับน้องๆ บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ
วันที่ 6 มิถุนายน 2557 เป็นครั้งแรกสำหรับกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ มีพี่ๆ จากเมนารินี่ มาด้วยกันประมาณ 20 คน รวมถึงคุณมาร์ค บราวน์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ และในครั้งต่อๆ มาก็มีพี่ๆ เจ้าหน้าที่ ประมาณครั้งละ 10 กว่าคนที่มาร่วมกิจกรรมในแต่ละสัปดาห์ ซึ่งกิจกรรมในแต่ละสัปดาห์จะแตกต่างกันไป อันดับแรก พี่ๆ จะได้รู้จักกับน้องและความเป็นมาของบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ โดยจะมีเจ้าหน้าที่ให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ จากนั้นพี่ๆ ก็จะทำกิจกรรมเกมกับน้องๆ โดยในแต่ละสัปดาห์กิจกรรมก็จะต่างๆ กันไป จากนั้นในช่วงบ่าย หลังจากที่ทานอาหารกลางวันเรียบร้อยแล้ว จะเป็นกิจกรรม ดี ไอ วาย ประดิษฐ์สิ่งของสุดน่ารักร่วมกับน้องๆ และ ผู้ปกครองของน้องๆ เด็กพิการที่ไป กลับ ซึ่งนอกจากเด็กๆ ความสนุกในการทำกิจกรรมแล้ว สิ่งของเหล่านี้ยังจะถูกนำไปขายในร้านขายของมือสองของบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ซึ่งนี่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการฝึกอาชีพของบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ อีกด้วย
ตัวอย่างของที่น้องๆ และพี่ๆ ได้ทำร่วมกันไปแล้ว เช่น สายคาดผมดอกไม้, กระเป๋า เดคูพาจ, ตกแต่งแว่นตาสุดเก๋ และที่จะทำต่อไปเช่น รองเท้าประดับด้วยกระดุม เสื้อมัดย้อม และ เดคูพาจ หมวก และอีกมากมาย ต้องขอบคุณทางบริษัทเมนารินี่ ที่เลือกทำกิจกรรมดีๆ แบบนี้กับน้องๆ บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ
