International School Fairs
On the 19th of November, the Camillian Home children were invited to Concordian International School to share in Thanksgiving dinner! It was a truly heart-warming evening, with the Concordian students taking such good care of our children – we are constantly impressed by the level of friendship and love shown by the students of Concordian.
The Concordian dining room was filled by visitors from many different foundations, all sharing this festive dinner together. There was also a sharing of joy and happiness, with each of the groups putting on a performance throughout the night. Camillian Home were represented by our always popular CM Band, who had the whole room singing along with the popular song they chose.
The children were not ready to leave at the end of the night, as they were all so full of happiness, joy and love from the celebration. We hope we get a chance to share in such a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration next year! We would like to extend our warmest gratitude to Concordian International School, who have once again filled our hearts with love, as they always do.
We were also lucky enough to be invited to the Harrow Fair on the 21st of November, by Harrow International School. This was an exciting day full of fun and games, and Camillian Home were even allowed to hold their own stall. Our children brought their own hand-made goods – including painted mugs, bags and notebooks – to sell at our stall, which was a great chance to showcase our children’s talent, and to raise funds and awareness for the Camillian Home. The kids got to spend the day exploring the other stalls and all of the games and activities available. They played games involving throwing balls into nets, dunking girls into tanks and even shooting targets with toy guns – there was a bit of everything! By the end of the day they had won so many prizes they had trouble carrying them all back to the van. It was a very hot day, but our kids had such an enjoyable and happy time at the Fair. เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤศจิกายน เวลาประมาณ 17.00 นาฬิกา น้องๆบ้านคามิลเลียนได้รับเกียรติจากโรงเรียนนานาชาติคอนโคเดียน ไปเข้าร่วมงาน Thank giving ซึ่งพี่ๆเองก็ได้ให้การต้อนรับเป็นอย่างดี บรรยากาศภายในงานเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่น สิ่งที่ประทับใจที่สุดคือ ความเป็นกันเองของพี่ๆนักเรียน คอนโคเดียน ที่มาต้อนรับและทักทายด้วยความรัก มอบความสนุกสนานให้กับพวกเรา
ภายในห้องอาหารมีแขกที่เข้ามาร่วมงานมากมาย มีน้องๆ พี่ๆ คุณตา คุณยายจากมูลนิธิอื่นๆที่มาร่วมรับประทานอาหาร และมีการแสดงจากแต่ละบ้านที่มาร่วมงานในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งน้องๆบ้านคามิลเลียนของเราได้นำความสุขผ่านเสียงเพลง โดยตัวแทนของบ้านคือวง CM band ทำให้ทุกๆคนในงานสนุกสนาน เนื่องจากเพลงที่ CM band ของเราคัดสรรมาส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพลงที่คุ้นหูและร้องตามได้กันแทบทุกคน
เมื่อสิ้นสุดการแสดงทั้งหมดก็ได้เวลาเดินทางกลับ น้องๆบ้านเราแทบไม่อยากกลับกันเลยทีเดียว เพราะบรรยากาศที่เต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่น ความสุข เสียงหัวเราะ บทสนทนาที่สนุกสนานของนักเรียนและคุณครูโรงเรียนคอนโคเดียน หากปีหน้าได้รับโอกาสจากพวกพี่ๆอีก พวกเราบ้านคามิลเลียนจะมาร่วมแสดงความสามารถอีกครั้งอย่างแน่นอน ขอขอบคุณสำหรับกิจกรรมดีๆที่มาเติมเต็มความอบอุ่น และทำให้รู้สึกว่ายังมีความรักมอบให้กับพวกเราบ้านคามิลเลียนอยู่เสมอ
และนอกจากนี้พวกเรายังได้รับโอกาสดีๆอีกครั้งจากโรงเรียนนานาชาติฮาร์โร่ ที่ได้จัดกิจกรรม Harrow fair ขึ้นในวันเสาร์ที่ 21 พฤศจิกายน ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมงานในครั้งนี้ส่วนใหญ่เป็นผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนโรงเรียนฮาร์โร่ เจ้าหน้าที่ประจำบูธจากบริษัทต่างๆ รวมทั้งน้องๆจากบ้านคามิลเลียนเราด้วย
งานกิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นงานที่จัดขึ้นเพื่อขายสินค้าต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นของอุปโภคบริโภค นอกจากนี้ยังมีกิจกรรมเกมส์มากมายให้ร่วมสนุกอีกด้วย ซึ่งน้องๆของเราก็ได้นำสินค้าจากฝีมือของสมาชิคบ้านคามิลเลียนไปจัดจำหน่ายที่งานด้วยเช่นกัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น แก้วเพ้นส์ลาย กระเป๋าผ้า และสมุดจดบันทึกที่พวกเด็กๆของเราออกแบบคิดลวดลายด้วยตัวเอง เมื่อเวลากิจกรรมมาถึง เด็กๆบ้านเราก็ได้ไปร่วมสนุก เล่นเกมส์ต่างๆ อาทิ เกมส์เตะบอลเข้าห่วง เกมส์สาวน้อยตกน้ำ และเกมส์ยิงเป้า ซึ่งเด็กๆของเราก็ได้กวาดรางวัลกลับบ้านกันทุกคนเลยทีเดียว
ถึงแม้อากาศจะร้อนแค่ไหน ก็ไม่สามารถทำให้พวกเราหมดสนุกลงไปได้ ทั้งนี้ต้องขอขอบคุณทางโรงเรียนฮาร์โร่ ที่มอบโอกาสสุดพิเศษให้กับเด็กๆบ้านคามิลเลียนอิ่มเอมไปด้วยความสุขสนุกสนานเป็นอย่างยิ่งค่ะ
