Global Smiling – Beach Trip to Toei Ngam Beach

The Hopeful Children project 2017, came about due to the cooperation between PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited,The Royal Thai Marine Corps Headquarters, Sattahip, together with Fund For Friends. The camp for children and underprivileged youth who are living with disabilities will make them understand about living in the society.

This years theme was “Global Smiling” and it was held between 18th-20th of March, 2017 at Toei Ngam Beach, Royal Thai Marine Corps Bay, Royal Thai Marine Corps Headquarters, Sattahip, Chonburi. The participants were children and youth who are living with disabilities,children with specific needs,and orphaned children. They represented many non-profit organizations in Thailand. There were a total of 1,061 children, including seventy volunteers,besides this there were forty nine international volunteers from different countries such as Japan, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam and Laos. The Camillian Home was represented by three children from the art therapy room – Mouy, Tubtim, Nook and were accompanied by Khun Ponsiri Lertwittayawiwat (Pei). There were many water activities besides various cultural performances. We were also taken aboard the royal ship Ravi for sightseeing around Sattahip bay.
We would like to thank the PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited,the organizers and sponsors especially Ms.Honey Panrada, Mr.Visit Dejkumtorn, Mr.K, and the fundraiser team for their hard work. We also wish to thank our brothers and sisters of the Royal Thai Marine Corps Headquarters Mr.Beer and Mr.Spark for their kindness, helping our children and facilitating their visit, and also thanks to Ms. Siwakul Pitisuksombat and brother Kiew, third Year at Thamasat University in the faculty of Science and English and also Khun Kamolchai Jangkrajarng (Golf) from 15 th Signal Battalion,Pattani for their kindness and compassion.

Mouy, reflected I would like to thank brother P” Kiew and P” Golf for your help at the time we were there, during the water activities and assisted me when I was sick. We enjoyed the activities at the camp to the fullest and had great fun even though I got a little sick on the boat. I really wish I can do this all over again next year.

โครงการแด่น้องผู้มีความหวัง ปีที่ 27
โครงการแด่น้องผู้มีความหวัง ซึ่งเกิดจากความร่วมมือกันระหว่างบริษัท พีทีที โกลบอล เคมิคอล จำกัด (มหาชน) และหน่วยบัญชาการนาวิกโยธิน กองทัพเรือ ร่วมกับ กองทุนเพื่อเพื่อน สานต่อความฝันให้กับเด็กและเยาวชนผู้ด้อยโอกาส ได้มีแนวคิดที่จะอยู่ในสังคมได้อย่างมีความหวัง พร้อมได้รับความอบอุ่นจากสังคม รวมไปถึงได้รับรู้เข้าใจปัญหาระหว่างเพื่อนมนุษย์ และสามารถมีส่วนช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นได้ โดยในปีนี้จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 27 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Global Smiling” ระหว่างวันที่ 18-20 มีนาคม 2560 ณ หาดเตยงาม อ่าวนาวิกโยธิน หน่วยบัญชาการนาวิกโยธิน อ.สัตหีบ จ.ชลบุรี ปีนี้มีเด็กและเยาวชนผู้ด้อยโอกาส เด็กพิการซ้ำซ้อนและเด็กกำพร้า จำนวนประมาณ 1,061 คน จากองค์กรต่าง ๆ ทั่วประเทศ อาสาสมัครทั้งจากในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ประกอบด้วย อาสาสมัครชาวไทย 70 คน อาสาสมัครต่างชาติ 49 คน จาก 6 ประเทศ ประกอบด้วย ญี่ปุ่น ฟิลิปปินส์ บรูไน เวียดนาม เมียนมาร และลาว ทางบ้านคามิลเลียนเพื่อเด็กพิการได้ส่ง 3 สาว Artist (หมวย, ทับทิม และนุ๊ก) และ แม่เป้ย เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยกิจกรรมเล่นน้ำทะเล, ชมการแสดงจากองค์กรต่างๆ และลงเรือหลวงราวี เพื่อชมทัศนิยภาพรอบอ่าวสัตหีบ
สุดท้ายพวกเราขอขอบคุณผู้ใหญ่ใจดีและพี่ฮันนี่ ปานรดา จากบริษัท พีทีที โกลบอล เคมิคอล จำกัด (มหาชน), คุณอาวิศิษฐ์ เดชกำธร และทีมงานกองทุนเพื่อเพื่อนทุกท่านที่ห่วงใยพวกเราตลอดเวลา, พี่ๆ นาวิกโยธิน โดยเฉพาะ น.ย. เบียร์ และ น.ย. สปาร์ค ที่ช่วยเข็นน้องๆ และอำนวยความสะดวกทุกเรื่องอย่างสุดความสามารถ,คุณศิวกุล ปิติสุขสมบัติ (น้องเกี้ยว, Kiew) นักศึกษาปี 3 คณะนิติศาสตร์ ภาคภาษาอังกฤษ ม.ธรรมศาสตร์ อาสาสมัครสาวใจดีที่ ดูแลพวกเราอย่างใกล้ชิด และ ส.อ. กมลชัย แจ้งกระจ่าง (พี่กอล์ฟ) ทหารกองพันทหารสื่อสารที่ 15 จ.ปัตตานี ที่ประสานงานเรื่องสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่างๆ ให้พวกเราเป็นอย่างดี

หนูขอขอบคุณพี่ทหารเรือเบียร์ พี่เกี้ยวและพี่กอล์ฟที่ดูแลหนูเป็นอย่างดีตลอด 3 วัน 2 คืน ทั้งช่วยเข็นวีลแชร์, อุ้มขึ้นรถ-ลงเรือ, พาไปเล่นน้ำทะเล และดูแลตอนหนูไม่สบาย กิจกรรมครั้งนี้หนูสนุกและมีความสุขมากถึงแม้หนูจะเมาเรือก็ตาม ถ้าปีหน้ามีอีกหนูก็อยากไปอีกค่ะ – น้องหมวย บ้านคามิลเลียน
