Camillian’s Own Online Shop!
The Camillian Home children, staff, volunteers and daycare parents have been hard at work throughout 2014, in an attempt to help raise much needed funds for the Camillian Home. One of the many projects we’ve been working on has just now come to fruition, and we would like to invite you all to visit Camillian Home’s very first online shop!
For now, this shop includes scarves, beanies, bags, hats and figurines, all lovingly created by our daycare mothers and our children. In the weeks and months to come, this shop will extend to include everything from our children’s artworks to furniture made by our children and staff – so make sure you keep checking back!
As our resident children get older, it is important we teach them all of the skills they will need if they want to one day leave the Camillian Home. One of these many skills is of course a way to make a living, and once the Camillian Home extension building is fully funded and erected we will have a Vocational Training room to do just this. However we didn’t want to wait until that was complete to get started! The caregivers of our daycare children have been teaching some of our resident kids how to knit, and various volunteer groups have spent time teaching our kids how to decorate everything from sunglasses to shoes to hats (most of these have sold out already, sorry!). Our staff member Kalisha has taken this one step further, and has been teaching a few of our boys how to turn old windows into new tables!
Through selling products they themselves have made, each child earns a commission – just as they would selling their wares outside of the Camillian Home. This not only instills a sense of achievement and pride, it also means they can start saving money so they are able to support themselves in the later life.
By supporting our shop, you will be helping support the Camillian Home, which relies nearly entirely on the kindness of sponsors and donors to continue running; the families of our daycare children, some of whom are not able to work as they must be with their child 24 hours a day, without receiving any support from the government; and our children directly, helping them prepare for life outside the Camillian Home.
We are able to ship our products nearly anywhere in the world, so wherever you are – near or far – please have a look and make a purchase! Whether it is for yourself or as a gift, you will know the money you spend is making an enormous difference to the lives of those much less fortunate.

ในร้านค้าของเรามีสินค้ามากมาย ทั้งผ้าพันคอ กระเป๋า หมวก ถักไหมพรม และสินค้าน่ารักมากมายผลงานจากเด็กๆ และผู้ปกครองของเด็กพิการ และในเดือนหน้า ร้านค้าของเราจะมีสินค้าจากฝีมือของเด็กๆ เข้ามาเพิ่มอย่างต่อเนื่องเข้ามาดูสินค้าเพื่อเป็นกำลังใจให้กับเด็กๆ บ่อยๆ นะคะ
เด็กๆ ของเราหลายคนเริ่มเติบโตขึ้น ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องสำคัญมากที่เราต้องฝึกทักษะที่จำเป็นให้กับเค้าเมื่อเค้าต้องไปใช้ชีวิตเองด้านนอก และเมื่ออาคารหลังใหม่ของบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ เสร็จ เราจะมีห้องสำหรับฝึกอาชีพโดยเฉพาะ ซึ่งทางแม่ๆ ของเด็กไป กลับ เองก็ช่วยสอนน้องๆ เรื่องการถักไหมพรม อาสาสมัครหลายท่านเข้ามาสอนน้องๆ เราในการทำงานประดิดประดอยต่างๆ เจ้าหน้าที่ของเรา คุณคาริช่า ช่วยฝึกเด็กผู้ชายในเรื่องงานช่าง เช่นนำหน้าต่างเก่าๆ มาทำเป็นโต๊ะได้อย่างสวยงาม
สินค้าที่เด็กๆ ขายได้ เด็กๆ ก็จะได้รับค่าตอบแทน ซึ่งนอกจะได้เรียนรู้การฝึกอาชีพและมีความภาคภูมิใจกับผลงานของตนเองแล้ว เด็กๆ ยังสามารถเก็บเงินค่าตอบแทนส่วนนี้ไว้ใช้ในอนาคตได้อีกด้วย
การซื้อสินค้าของบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ยังมีส่วนช่วยบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ เพราะบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ อยู่ได้ด้วยการรับบริจาคจากผู้ใจดีที่ช่วยสนับสนุน ครอบครัวของเด็กพิการที่ต้องดูแลเด็กพิการตลอดเวลา ทำให้ไม่สามารถทำงานได้ ทำให้มีรายได้ไม่เพียงพอสำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายภายในครอบครัว การสนับสนุนของท่านจะมีส่วนช่วยให้ครอบครัวของเด็กพิการมีรายได้เพิ่มขึ้น
เราสามารถส่งสินค้าให้ทุกท่านได้ทุกที่ ไม่ว่าจะใกล้ หรือไกล มาร่วมสนับสนุนสินค้าของน้องๆ ไม่ว่าจะซื้อใช้เอง หรือซื้อเป็นของขวัญ นอกจากจะได้สินค้าแล้วท่านยังได้ร่วมทำบุญเพื่อช่วยให้เด็กพิการเหล่านี้มีชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น
