A warm welcome to our 4 new members

We are happy to announce the addition of a few children to the Home both as resident children and as part of our daycare program. Dara, 10, the newest kid on the block, joined us on 30 January 2015. Dara suffers from Cerebral Palsy and is unable to move or utilise her legs. She is able to crawl using her arms but with physical therapy from the trained professionals here at the Home, we are hoping that one day she will be able to walk on her own. She is a bright and easy-going girl who loves meeting new people.

Mew, 7 and Takkatan, 8 had been attending out Saturday program for the past year until last month, when they officially joined us as daycare children. Both Mew and Takkatan have Down Syndrome and the daycare program provides them with occupational therapy that helps to improve coordination, concentration and movement. Playing and interacting with other children in activities also helps to stimulate development and competency in many social aspects.

Lastly, we have Baimon, an enthusiastic 5 year old who is unable to effectively use his legs. He originates from the Nakorn Rachasima province. Hearing about the Camillian Home from others, Baimon and his mother arrived at the Home in January, only with clothing in hand. Camillian Home immediately took Baimon and his mother in. Baimon is now part of our daycare program and he loves playing with the other children in the Occupational Therapy room while Baimon’s mother works as a janitor for the Camillian Pastoral Care Centre that is within the same premises as the Home. Baimon also receives physical therapy that aims to strengthen his legs to stand, balance and someday, to walk.

We would like to welcome these children once again and we hope that they will be able to learn, play and enjoy their time here with their friends from the Camillian family!

บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ มีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ต้อนรับน้องๆ ใหม่จำนวน 4 คน เข้ามาอยู่ในความดูแล ทั้งในรูปแบบประจำ และไปกลับ เคสแรกคือน้องดารา อายุ 10 ปี น้องมาที่บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ ในวันที่ 30 มกราคม 2558 น้องดาราถูกส่งต่อมาจาก บ้านอุ่นรัก ซึ่งทางบ้านอุ่นรักไม่มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก หรือ เจ้าหน้าที่พิเศษ ที่ให้การดูแลกับเด็กพิการ ทางบ้านอุ่นรักจึงส่งน้องเข้ามาอยู่ในความดูแลของทางมูลนิธิฯ ดาราเป็นเด็กพิการทางสมอง หรือ ซีพี ทำให้การเคลื่อนไหวของน้องทำได้ไม่ดีนัก น้องใช้การเคลื่อนที่ด้วยการคืบ ซึ่งเราหวังว่าหลังจากที่น้องได้รับการกายภาพน้องจะมีพัฒนาการที่ดียิ่งๆ ขึ้น ดาราเป็นเด็กน่ารัก น้องจะหัวเราะและยิ้มแย้มอยู่เสมอ

น้องหมิวอายุ 7 ขวบ และน้องตั๊กแตน อายุ 8 ขวบ ที่เข้ามาร่วมในโปรแกรมวันเสาร์กับเราตั้งแต่ปีที่แล้วและมาเริ่มในส่วนของโปรแกรม ไปกลับ จันทร์ถึงศุกร์ ในปี 2558 ทั้งน้องหมิว และน้องตั๊กแตนเป็นเด็กที่มีอาการดาวน์ซินโดรม ทั้งสองคนอยู่ในห้องกิจกรรมบำบัด เพื่อรับการฟื้นฟู เพื่อให้น้องมีสมาธิและเพิ่มพัฒนาการในการดูแลตนเองมากยิ่งขึ้น

และเคสสุดท้ายคือน้องใบหม่อน อายุ 5 ขวบ ใบหม่อนมีความพิการทางด้านร่างกาย น้องไม่สามารถเดินได้ คุณแม่และน้องเดินทางมาจากนครราชสีมา ทั้งแม่และน้องมาที่บ้านคามิลเลียนฯ โดยไม่มีอะไรติดตัว เมื่อคุณพ่อจิมมี่ได้สอบถามข้อมูล แล้วจึงได้รับน้องใบหม่อนให้เข้ามาเพื่อรับการฟื้นฟูจากมูลนิธิฯ และรับแม่ของน้องใบหม่อน เข้าทำงาน ตอนนี้น้องใบหม่อนเข้ามาเป็น หนึ่งในสมาชิกของบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ เพื่อรับการกายภาพบำบัดฟื้นฟู

เราขอต้อนรับน้องๆ ทุกเข้ามาเป็นสมาชิกครอบครัวบ้านคามิลเลียนฯ และหวังว่าน้องๆ ทุกคนจะมีพัฒนาการที่ดีขึ้น
