A good friend of ours, Tim Loretan did not want personal presents for his birthday, he simply collected money to offer our children a wonderful day at the Khao Khaew Zoo.
During the car ride, the children were all excited to discover the animal world, including lions, tigers, hippos and elephants. The show began the moment we arrived, presenting the talents of some trained animals such as birds, pigs and weasels. Folloig the animal show was a train ride through the reserve, the children were able to admire the monkeys performing acrobatics in the trees, lions and tigers. Many of the children even got to feed the elephants. Some were hesitant at first about approaching such a large animal but they quickly came to realize that elephants are in fact gentle giants. For the visually impaired, touch is very important, the blind children were able to hold in their arms a little rabbit and also a little goat. After a good lunch place to relax and play. 3pm, time to go home. Kids all fell asleep within the first few kilometers, dreaming of the African jungle. Tim thank you for this wonderful time of sharing and joy.
